Not Up To Modern Standards

Around the corner from my home, four blocks of social housing were deemed ‘not up to modern standards’. Tenants had to move out, often leaving their furniture and posters on the walls. Meanwhile, demolition hasn't started, and the apartments have been empty for a long time. A lot a vandalism occurred and the big fence surrounds the project, hasn't stopped people in need of a roof over their heads from moving in. This summer, I jumped the fence a couple of times to document this neighbourhood in limbo. It’s an eerie sight.
